THE SPACE BETWEEN

The Space Between explores the liminal place between certainty and uncertainty, where life is suspended and the future remains unknown. These paintings emerged from a year spent beside my daughter and twenty-two-month-old granddaughter as she underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Born from this deeply personal experience, the works reflect the fragility of life and the resilience found in love, hope and quiet endurance. Layers of acrylic paint and X-ray film carry traces of vulnerability and healing, inviting viewers to reflect on the strength it takes to keep moving forward through life's most uncertain moments..
