THE SHAPE OF ABSENCE
There is a moment after every ending when something still remains. A scent in the air, the warmth of fading light, the memory of a landscape that has settled beneath the skin. The Japanese word nagori speaks to this lingering presence. These works are an exploration of that threshold, where absence becomes tangible and memory transforms into colour, texture and gesture. They are not paintings of what was, but of what endures.
