
Memento Mori was created during the uncertainty of the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns. This body of work emerged from a period of isolation, reflection and unexpected creativity. With only discarded cardboard, children's paints and found materials at hand, I embraced the limitations of my circumstances, transforming everyday objects into paintings. Made in a makeshift studio beneath the house, these works celebrate resilience, play and the importance of slowing down to reconnect with what truly matters.
