A SENSE OF PLACE

A landscape reveals itself slowly. It seeps into your soul before it settles on the canvas. The light, the rhythm of seasons,  the colours carried by memory—over time become inseparable from experience. My work begins there, where observation gives way to feeling. Rather than painting the land as it appears, I paint the imprint it leaves behind: the quiet conversation between place and memory, where landscapes become emotional rather than geographical.
